Bog Strawberry (Potentilla palustris)
Upright reddish stems and green leaves formed of 5-7 leaflets, each lance-shaped and heavily toothed. Resembling dainty, single roses, the blossoms are very attractive to bees and butterflies. Its stems and aquatic roots are submerged and just the upper stems ascend above the water line.
