Sold in bunches containing 8 stems.
Cabomba (Cabomba caroliniana) is commonly referred to as Green Cabomba or Fanwort.
It is known for its green fan shaped leaves, and straight (tubular) growth. The branch stems can grow as long as 30 feet in high light conditions. The leaves can fan out approximately 2 inches across. In high light conditions, they will have short internodes from leaf branch to leaf branch. The stems will develop roots underneath the substrate; however, the stems are brittle by nature and have a tendency to break off if disturbed.
If allowed to reach the surface, the emergent stalks will sprout out diamond shaped leaves, and small white and yellow flowers.
Plant in pots and place at the bottom of the pond.
Propagation is through cuttings of the stem.
