SHIPPING IN CANADA:


Hard goods are mostly shipped using Dicom, Loomis or Canpar.

All plants are shipped using Canada Post Xpresspost, Loomis Express or Canpar Express.  


Mixed orders (plants and hard goods) will be shipped the fastest and most economical way.

 


WE DO NOT SHIP TO THE USA or INTERNATIONALLY.



SHIPPING IN CANADA:

Our shipping rates are fair and below our actual costs.  The shipping fee schedule shown below applies to all items shipped within Canada.  Extra shipping charges apply to Nunavut, NW Territories, Yukon Territory and other remote locations.

We do not charge a handling fee.

There is no minimum order.

Hardware:

We try to combine orders whenever possible and ship your order in one box.  If for some reason we must split your order, you will not be charged extra shipping.


Aquatic Plants:

Generally, aquatic plants cannot be shipped together with hardware.  Due to their fragility they MUST be shipped separately.  Occasionally, plants and hard goods will be shipped in one box (containing TWO separate boxes).

Orders containing aquatic plants MUST generally be shipped via Canada Post Xpresspost service or Loomis Express.  This is because live plant shipments are extremely time sensitive.

 
Dispatch:

AQUATIC PLANT SHIPMENTS ARE PACKED ON SUNDAYS AND DISPATCHED ON MONDAYS. The reason for this is that we have no control over shipping, and there are often delays.  If Monday shipments that require 3-4 days for delivery are delayed, at least the package will arrive before the weekend.

In some cases we may ship during the week for hard goods, or for plants being shipped locally.

Orders are always shipped as soon as possible.  Occasionally, it may take a little longer to dispatch your order due to some items being out of stock, or an order coming in mid week.  You will be notified by phone or email if this is the case.
